What is HypnoBirthing?
HypnoBirthing is a technique being used by increasing numbers of women all over the world who want to learn how to achieve a calm,satisfying and stress free method of birthing.
In HypnoBirthing:

you will learn that childbirth is a normal, natural healthy function for women. It is when faced with fear and tension that the uterus is unable to function properly and discomfort arises. Many women have now come to expect this as the norm for labour. This is all too often reinforced by negative stories from friends, family and the media.
The art of HypnoBirthing lies in the teaching of deep relaxation, self-hypnosis and specific breathing techniques in a well planned programme to allow parents to achieve the calm, relaxed birth they want.
The classes are enjoyable and informative and will thoroughly prepare you psychologically and physically for having the best possible experience of childbirth. You will be given exercises to practise together with your birthing partner and also on your own. Fathers-to-be (or your choice of birthing companion) are given a vital role to play, ensuring that they are not “left on the side lines” and are an essential part of the baby’s birth. |
