Information About Attending Classes

 

The HypnoBirthing® Course is normally run over 5 classes, each lasting 2 1/2 hours.

Classes are in groups of 2-3 couples, and private classes can also be arranged.

-The Rainbow Relaxation & Birthing Affirmations CD
-Attendance for both you and your birthing companion
-All course materials
-A personalised Birth-Plan
-Course handouts and folder

-Viewing of HypnoBirthing® DVDs

Times and Dates can be flexible to suit the couples attending.

 

You will be taught:

· Deep relaxation, self hypnosis and visualisation techniques

· The simple yet specific HypnoBirthing® breathing techniques

· Massage techniques designed to release endorphins

· Fear-release methods to overcome any concerns about the birth and future parenting skills

· Effective birthing positions

· Basic physiology of birth

· Methods of bonding with your baby prior to birth

· And much more…

 

Please book well in advance to avoid disappointment as courses tend to fill up quickly. Groups are kept small enough to ensure that individual needs are met and that techniques are mastered so that you can have confidence in your ability to give birth  using HypnoBirthing®.

You will then be sent a registration form to confirm your booking.

Classes are held at evenings and/or weekends depending on requirements of

couples attending, at the instructors home in the southside of Glasgow. For

private classes there is the option of classes at your own home.
